The final drive gear is cleaned and polished, there is a lot of nicks and scratches in the surface. But since I did not take this apart, I will leave it like this for now.

Draining the oil from this thing is much easier when mounted on the bike, too late now. Luckily for me my oil draining plastic box was very suitable for this. I just pushed the rear axle back into the gear and hung it in the box as in the picture.

The final drive gear is much better now, It isn’t totally clean, like new clean style. But hey, now I can touch it without getting dirty fingers.
