Had to use a knife to remove some leaking of paint from the powder coating process. The masking wasn’t good enough to keep all the powder out, but luckily it was easier to remove than I feared. Packing the frame

The frame is to be sent to a company that does powder coating, it is now packed and ready to be picked up by the transporter company. I used strips to secure the parts and made carrying handles of an old towel.

The frame is now ready. Well I’m lying a bit, I have to remove the cable clamps and wash it before sending it to powder coating.

There are also two small clamps that hold some hoses, I think this one is for the air filter drain tube.

On the frame there are several cable clamps, I think I have to remove these before sending the frame to powder coating. These are covered with plastic and the plastic has to be removed, of course, but I don’t think that the power coating will be bendable enough for these.

The frame type and serial number is stamped into the steering stem.

Almost a bare frame

Now there is only a few parts left on the frame. The wiring harness, center stand and the swing arm. The swing arm I need to borrow a huge hexagon wrench to get loose.
