I should have four of these, but I don’t, one was missing. Now I just have to decide if I want to buy one or four new ones. I could sand blast and polish them back to life, but a new one only costs $2.80. So if I buy just one new, I’m cheap. And [...]

This is after the weld has been removed, had to remove it to get the mounting ring off the bend. This is one of the bends in the middle and the ring can’t come off in the other direction because of the connection pipe.

Looking into the exhaust port reveals a lot of sot and clogging. This has not been inspected since I bought the bike in 1995. Notice the bumblebee stuck in between the ribs, poor little thing.

The exhaust pipes was the first to come off. They have a lot of rust in the chrome, but I am hoping that I don’t have to buy new ones. They are very expensive compared to the exhaust system of a car.
