The first test of polishing chrome went alright, there is a lot more difference in real life than on this picture. The polishing product I am using is Chrome Polish from the German company AUTOSOL.

Just wanted to show you the rest of the pedal. There is a bit of surface rust near the front end of the pedal arm, but that will disappear after some chrome polishing.

The rust on the rear brake pedal is due to friction between pedal and shoe. Think I might leave it like this. The wear from the shoe will hopefully keep the pedal blank. If it doesn’t I’ll just replace the pedal at a later stage.

These are the chromed parts for the front and rear pegs. Not too bad, will probably be fine after some cleaning and chrome polish.

This is the chrome part with the worst rust damage of them all. Luckily it is only on the inside. I will paint it on the inside and polish it on the outside.
