Have masked the front brake disks because they really need some paint. On this I had to use electrical tape because it is flexible and can be curved. To get curves in the masking just stretch the tape while applying it.

A local paint shop sold me a spray can with black high temperature paint. They told me it was matte, but it was so matt I had to go back and ask them for a clear coat to have on top, just so the caliper would look somewhat like before. A total waste of time! [...]

This is one caliper after glass blasting, some scuff marks was suddenly more visible. Some surfaces has been masked for painting. Just going to wipe it off with spirits before paint. Today I cleaned the front caliper brackets, to my amazement I see that they aren’t black. They have a dark purple color to them.

Just wanted to show you the rest of the pedal. There is a bit of surface rust near the front end of the pedal arm, but that will disappear after some chrome polishing.

The rust on the rear brake pedal is due to friction between pedal and shoe. Think I might leave it like this. The wear from the shoe will hopefully keep the pedal blank. If it doesn’t I’ll just replace the pedal at a later stage.
