Progress
Have masked the front brake disks because they really need some paint. On this I had to use electrical tape because it is flexible and can be curved. To get curves in the masking just stretch the tape while applying it.

Rebuilding

Today I tested how some dirty bolts would look like if I glass blasted them. The result is very pleasing, just a little bit of buffing on some of the bolts to make them shine like new bolts. The reason why I did this is because I don’t have a tool to polish inside the [...]

Dismantling
The back side of the helmet lock was very dirty and the release bars had to be wiggled to actually release. Good thing I opened the lock because this was a lot of dirt. Will wash it, regrease it and put it back together.

This padding is made of plastic. It is kind of like the old Tupperware plastic where the plastic was pealing of in flakes. Will check to see if this can be refurbished. If not, buy a new one.
