Drove to Brønnøysund today for a job interview, witch went very well I think. After the interview we drove north to a place called Vevelstad to visit an old friend. It turned out that her boyfriend had a similar love for SUZUKI’s and he showed me a Norwegian brochure of SUZUKI bikes from 1983. And [...]

This padding is made of plastic. It is kind of like the old Tupperware plastic where the plastic was pealing of in flakes. Will check to see if this can be refurbished. If not, buy a new one.

Draining the oil from this thing is much easier when mounted on the bike, too late now. Luckily for me my oil draining plastic box was very suitable for this. I just pushed the rear axle back into the gear and hung it in the box as in the picture.

Found this on the internet, that’s where I find most of my information about stuff. You can clean off rust and dirt with electrolysis. And it’s magic, I am testing on some bolts I have had lying around, and so far I’m impressed. The springs that secure the oil gaskets on the front dampers was [...]

I am having trouble getting the decals for my GS1100G. I have sent some request to some shops that make vintage decals. No answer so far. I have been at several paint shops for a cost estimate on the job with painting the parts with decals. One local paint shop would use one red and [...]
