Hi, I guess that since you’re her, you are interested in more information about SUZUKI GS1100G or another motorcycle.
On these pages you will find information about my restoration project for my GS1100 G, the best bike I’ve ever had. Well, it is the only bike I’ve ever had, but still the best.
If you have a SUZUKI GS1100 G, a GS1000 G or another GS bike, you will probably love the pictures I have here. There are a few pictures from before I started and a lot from the progress of my project.
I have been struggling a long time with getting the right parts for this bike. I want it to be restored to the look it had when it was new.
Therefore I will for example scrap the mirrors, the are in perfect working order, but does not look like the original mirrors. The tires are also wrong, not in size or that they are worn out, but in the look of the thread.

Here is the start of the project: The beginning.

This far I’ve been writing GS1100G with spaces, I have been using the method that gave the most hits on Google, but it turns out I was wrong.
On the service manual from Suzuki for GS1100G models, all names is without spaces. All models are named with GS1100 pluss G, GL, GK, GLD, GKD, GKE, GF and GG.
From now I will use GS1100G instead of GS 1100 G.
